Aztec Girls Start PenPal Program with Nkomazi, South Africa

The team has started theirpenpal program with other children in Nkomazi, South Africa.  Thisprogram is part of the work being done by Triad Trust, aconsortium of exceptional athletes, artists, musicians, filmmakers,physicians, educators, policymakers and health care advocates dedicatedto increasing HIV/AIDS awareness and encouraging prevention. TriadTrust trains local leaders to run sustainable sports, arts and mediaprograms for orphans and vulnerable children in areas affected byHIV/AIDS. 

The girls have been spending part of their classroom time learningabout their penpal friends in South Africa and will soon start writingletters to them.  Updates will follow as the program progresses.
