New England Aztec runs various additional programs including:
  • Clinics for players and coaches - These clinics are scheduled at varying times year-round, in various locations around our service area, and can be in small focused groups or have a large number of participants.
  • College Mentoring - Helping our student-athletes make the right choice about which college to attend is one of our most important duties. It is our goal as a club to help find the right school for the families in our program, academically and athletically. The mentoring program begins during our players' sophomore year of high school once their fall soccer season is complete. As we begin the search, we choose five schools to start with and send letters to the school's soccer coach and admissions office. Our College Mentoring Guide covers such topics as "College Academics", "Collegiate Soccer and what it takes to play in college", "Reaching the Coach: Resumes, Cover Letters, and Visits", "Scholarships and Financial Aid", "A Timeline for the Student-Athlete" and various appendices providing tips and guidelines for compelling applications and essays, guidelines and requirements regarding NCAA eligibility, and even NCAA forms for the player's convenience.
  • Community Development programs - These programs are part of official affiliations with local town soccer organizations to help them develop players and coaches.
  • Soccer Tots for children aged 18 months to 7 years. Soccer Tots is a child physical development program that uses a variety of fun games to delight and engage kids in a physical activity. Classes are professionally designed to develop motor skills, promote physical fitness and create self confidence. We stress a non-competitive environment and promote fun above all else. Instructor to student ratio is kept small to maximize individual development.
  • Summer Camps, including Overnight and Daytime / Evening - Only Co-ed Youth Camps and Advanced High-School Age Team Prep Camps at Governor's Academy in Byfield for players age 6-18. Our camps provide individual & team development through discussion, small and full-sided games, functional training, video and other components of training and game situations.
